There is something about Christmas that has always made me feel like a child!  Now as a parent, I am re-living some of this excitement and holiday cheer through my son.  For this reason, I had my decor up a week before the Santa Clause Parade!  The way I see it is, why not enjoy it for two whole months?

During our nature walk in this inspiring outdoor space I was especially interested
in all of the trunks of trees that I encountered along the way...
There were so many varieties of size, colour, texture, and shape. What do you notice or wonder?

Have you ever lived somewhere for years and not realized what surrounds you?  If we look closely, there are often many hidden gems within our own communities to discover.

It should come as no surprise that I am already creating provocations for my son and documenting his learning experiences.  Though he is only 9 months old, and an infant, I still see his strong thirst to discover and make sense of the world!
